Lindsay Lohan SNL Saturday Night Live Review

Probably one of the most anticipated Saturday Night Live's in the last few years was last night with Lindsay Lohan as the host. Was it worth the hype? A review and breakdown of the show follows:

Open with a Fox news segment featuring Bill Hader doing is Shepard Smith imitation, interviewing Mitt Romney, imitated by Jason Sudeikis. No one is better than Hader when he is doing creepy impressions. Also featuring Andy Samberg doing a Kid Rock impression. Hader making a correlation to Shepard Smith and Anthony Perkins in"Psycho" was hilarious.

Opening Monlouge: Linsday opens the monolouge, jumping thr gun. Wait for the "applause" light to go off, LL!

Lindsay steps off the stage, and alarms start to go off. "wait, so the alarm goes off if I leave the stage? I thought it was only if I left the studio!" LOL

Keenan: I've been stoned since "Good Burger". Classic.

Jimmy Fallon comes out. My God. Either Fallon's beeen tanning, or Lohan is super pale.

Jon Hamm sitting in the audience as the "back up host", mouthing "if you need me, I'll be right here." Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 5/10

First skit (pre-recorded short): The Real Housewives Of Disney: Wiig / Perdrad / Bayer / Lohan / Elliot Kristen Wiig as a drunk Cinderella and Vanessa Bayer as a Bronxy Snow White. Decent filmed skit. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 6/10

Second Skit: The 2012 Psychic Awards: Samberg / Lohan. Lohan is pretty much window dressing in this one, though the premise is actually decent. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 6/10

Third Skit: "Scared Straight. Thompson / Sudeikis / Samberg / Moynihan / Hader/ Lohan. Thompson playing "tough guy" Macintosh and Lohan playing...Lohan (that was the joke). Maybe that why she wasn't into the sketch. Lindsay flubbed a few lines, making a unfunny sketch even more unfunny. Score: 3/10

Musical Guest: Jack White sings "Love Interuption" from his forthcoming solo album, Blunderbuss. Score: 5/10

WEEKEND UPDATE: Featuring Seth Myers, Bill Hader doing his James Carvelle, Bobby Moynihan doing his Snooki. Jon Hamm gets a quick cameo. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 4/10

Four Skit: Deliquent Girl Teen Gang. Fred Armisan dancing in drag, getting hit by a car multiple times. Lohan does nothing but wear hot pants and spout a few lines, doing the twist. Barely funny. Score: 4/10

Fifth Skit: (digital short) Julee & Dee's Wedding/ Save The Date. Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg singing a knockoff of AC/DC's "Back In Black" with really, really, REALLY big hair. Not funny at all. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 3/10

Sixth Skit: Richard & The Buffalo. Killan, Moynihan, Bayer, and Lohan doing a Minnesota early morning hip hop show. Potential to be funny...it just wasn't...but I got a feeling these guys will be back. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 3/10

Seventh Skit: (digital short/commercial) Chantix. Prevously shown bit with Wiig/ Hader. Well beneath the talents of these two. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 3/10

Eighth Skit: The Housesitter. Lohan / Wiig. Linsday is a little better in this skit than the others, playing a housesitter that is dealing with a woman who is geting prank calls ala "When A Stranger Calls." Wiig saves the skit, of course. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 5/10

Ninth Skit: (digital short) Verizon commercial. Hader / Armisen. Hader goes to great length to explain Verizon's new 4G network. The tag says it all. Verzon: it's an old man's nightmare. Not too bad, if you're familiar with the concept of confusing tech-speak. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 4/10

Music Guest #2: Jack White comes back as the rocker with another song from Blunderbuss. Mix is terrible. Can't hear a word he's saying. Lindsay Lohan SNL Review Score: 4/10

Tenth Skit: Jason Sudeikis by a fire. That's pretty much it. Score: 3/10

Eleventh Skit: Rude Buddha. Sanberg, Hader, Armisen, Perdrad, Bayer, Moynihan, Lohan. A buddha teaches gives sarcastic advice to his followers.

Twelveth Skit: Jason Sudeikis by a fire, part two. Still, that's pretty much it. Score: 3/10

Good Night: Absolutely uninspired, like the show itself. Score: 2/10

Overall, this was a fairly uninspired episode. No energy from Lohan at all. For being an actress, she really wasn't doing much acting at all.

Final score: 3/10

Next Week: Jonah Hill is the Guest Host
